About Colin
Colin Freed grew up in Plymouth, MN, and skis for Loppet Nordic Racing after racing for Michigan Tech. As a Husky he placed second in the 20K mass start at the 2025 CCSA Championships and third at the NCAA Central Regional. In 2026 he broke through on the national stage: fourth in the SuperTour 10K freestyle in Minneapolis, 17th in the mass start at the U.S. Championships in Lake Placid, and eighth in the mass start at the Canadian Championships. He is motivated by finding his limit, knowing he has not found it yet, and his tip for younger skiers is to go fast, build jumps and have fun.
