The ranch spans 5,100 acres of meadows, forests, and mountain scenery, offering hiking and biking, fishing, canoeing and paddleboarding on Gaylord Reservoir, disc golf, archery, climbing, horseback riding, and a variety of family programs.

You don’t have to leave Snow Mountain Ranch to find a good meal. With convenient on-site dining options, it’s easy to grab breakfast before an early morning adventure, refuel after a day on the trails, or sit down for a hearty meal with the family.
Buckboard Grill is the go-to spot for a quick and casual bite, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, baked treats, burgers, and snacks. Schlessman Commons offers an all-you-can-eat buffet with breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including a salad bar, hot entrées, desserts, and options for vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets. During the winter ski season, Skinny Ski Cafe at the Nordic Center provides a cozy place to warm up with casual comfort food and a hot beverage—including chili, soups, sandwiches, and other easy favorites.

For families and groups, the adventure continues indoors and throughout the property. Guests can climb the indoor climbing wall, play basketball, volleyball, tennis, pickleball, and other games, enjoy the game room and roller skating rink, or take part in seasonal family programming. Many activities are included with an overnight stay, making it easy to fill your days without ever having to leave the ranch.
TRAINING FACILITIES
For Nordic athletes, Snow Mountain Ranch offers a training environment that is hard to replicate. The Nordic Center features 82.5 kilometers of groomed track and trail through pine forests, open meadows, and mountain terrain, with routes designed for a range of abilities. Classic and skate skiing are both supported, and the center offers lessons for athletes looking to sharpen their technique. Overnight guests also receive complimentary trail access, making it easy to build training into your stay.
