About Adam
Adam Witkowski grew up in Victor, NY, and was on skis by age 2. He raced for Stratton Mountain School, where he earned 11 Junior Nationals All-American finishes, then skied four seasons for Michigan Tech while studying finance. As a Michigan Tech senior in 2023 he became the first current Husky to race a World Cup, starting the sprint and team sprint in Livigno, Italy, where he and his partner placed 17th. He raced his third World Cup on home snow in Minneapolis in 2024. A sprint specialist, he has been a regular in SuperTour finals: second in the classic sprint in Cable in 2024, fourth in Montana in 2025, and eighth in Anchorage in 2025. In 2026 he placed eighth in the sprint at both the U.S. Championships in Lake Placid and Spring Nationals in Craftsbury. His favorite ski memory is racing the Minneapolis World Cup.
