Fall Kick-Off
Rollerski Racing and SNØ Racing’ 2nd Annual Golf Tournament
NORTHSHORE INLINE MARATHON
The team made its way to Duluth for a weekend of rollerski racing at the NorthShore Inline Marathon.
The NorthShore weekend has become a special part of the Midwest endurance-sports calendar, bringing together runners, skaters, and rollerskiers on the beautiful Lake Superior shoreline. The 2026 event included both half-marathon and marathon rollerski races, giving our athletes a great opportunity to test themselves in a competitive race environment.
The team did really well with Gretta Scholz walking away with the win, Adam Witkowski in a strong 2nd, Colin Freed 3rd, Jack Meinert 4th, Ben Boelter 5th, and Jon Clarke 6th.
We want to extend a sincere thank you to the NorthShore Inline Marathon organizers, race hosts, volunteers, and the entire Duluth community. Events like this take an enormous amount of work behind the scenes—from preparing the course and managing logistics to keeping athletes safe and supported throughout race day.
We appreciate everyone who makes it possible for rollerskiers to have a world-class racing experience right here in the Midwest.
SNØ RACING GOLF CLASSIC
We recently wrapped up another great SNØ Racing fundraiser with our 2nd Annual SNØ Racing Golf Classic at Theodore Wirth Regional Park in Minneapolis on September 28.
The event brought together supporters, friends, sponsors, and members of the skiing community for a fun day on the course while raising important funds to support our athletes.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who played, sponsored a hole, volunteered, donated, or simply showed up to support the team. Fundraising events like the Golf Classic help provide the resources our athletes need to train, travel, race, and continue pursuing their goals at the highest levels.
MEET OUR BOARD MEMBERS: MARIT ROSS-SONNESYN
Marit Ross-Sonnesyn joins SNØ Racing as a trustee representing the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation. A lifelong Nordic skier and former collegiate athlete at Gustavus Adolphus College, Marit credits endurance sports with teaching her perseverance, goal-setting, and balance.
Today, she works as a physician assistant in the Twin Cities while continuing to pursue her own athletic goals and supporting the next generation of Midwest Nordic skiers. We’re excited to have her experience and passion on the SNØ Racing board!
SNØ RACING IS PRESENTED BY SNOW MOUNTAIN RANCH
